The architectural concept of the new National Library is based on highly efficient and dense archiving towers interconnected with generous spaces dedicated to Knowledge Access. It is thought out in different spaces of time: the human one, dedicated to studying and research and the one of Knowledge, counting in centuries and aiming for eternity. Volume Drama serves the expression of the knowledge layering. Strong storage towers emerge from the ground. They are fed with telluric forces, with their own dynamic: forms in progress, reaching for the sky. Completed with office towers, they form a compact building, wrapped in a computer generated code carved in a glazed double skin.
